Vintage Design Hotel Sax

The recently reconstructed vintage design hotel Sax is superbly situated in the heart of Lesser Town, right below the Prague Castle.

The interiors of the Hotel Sax will transport you to the 1950s, 60s, or 70s, which typically enjoyed freedom of design. In our hotel you will find many originals representing the period's cutting edge in global design (Panton, Colani, Saarinen, Eames, etc.)

Many of the chairs, sofas, light fittings, graphic works, and pictures are originals. Some have been refurbished, and some are in their original state. In their time they were exclusive, and only available to a wealthier clientele.

The stylishly furnished rooms and suites offer all modern conveniences, including a laptop, high-speed internet access, an LCD TV with satellite programmes, a DVD player and 30 DVD titles.

Every room and suite has an original appearance. Do you admire the design of the 1970s, or would you rather surround yourself with the furniture of the 1950s or 1960s?

The hotel offers an excellent breakfast buffet and free tea in the afternoon. You can also enjoy typical Czech cuisine and excellent Moravian wine. We are serving complimentary Five o´clock Tea for our valuable guests.

The Lesser Town, where the Hotel Sax is located, is one of the most beautiful parts of Old Prague. Nearby, you can find the most famous Prague sights, such as Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, Saint Nicholas Church, or the Church of Our Lady of Victory. You can also admire the Lesser Town palaces and Saint Nicholas Church from the windows of the hotel rooms.
