Description
The Jefferson has long been known as Washington, DC’s most discerning hotel, catering to the world’s elite travelers. It pairs a powerhouse location just four blocks from the White House with a culture of service unlike any other hotel in the city.
Following a full-scale restoration that represents its largest transformation to date, the historic Jefferson is once again welcoming guests as Washington's finest small hotel.
The European ambience of the 99 guest room and suite accommodations evokes Thomas Jefferson’s cherished years in Paris while an extraordinary attention to detail conveys the sense that one is staying in a private home. These two influences blend seamlessly in our spacious suites, where marble-tiled entryways lead to gracious parlors furnished in the style of a Parisian salon, with velvet couches and whitewashed writing desks perfectly placed on parquet flooring under beautifully hand-crafted chandeliers.
Our top floor – the eighth – is dedicated to two expansive specialty suites: The 1,900-square-foot Presidential Suite and the 1,090-square-foot Bridal Suite. Both are exquisitely furnished, with soaring, nine-foot ceilings and French doors that allow daylight to stream in and open to exceptional city views of Washington D.C.
A third specialty suite, the Spa Suite, is located on the second floor. Designed to provide a serene escape from the energy of the city, this 800-square-foot suite can connect to a couple’s treatment room for the ultimate private spa experience.
Dining
Plume — One of the finest restaurants in the capital, Plume serves as a discreet and elegant backdrop to the culinary artistry of our award-winning executive chef, Damon Gordon.
Renewal and enlightenment await you at the exclusive Spa at The Jefferson in Washington, DC. Select from the spa's enticing menu of massages, facials and body treatments that employ herbs and botanicals grown in Monticello's gardens, and specialized vinotherapies that reflect Thomas Jefferson's passion for wine. Indulge in an expert manicure/pedicure.
