Soneva Fushi, the first “Robinson Crusoe” style hideaway in the Maldives, is set on the privately owned, tropical island of Kunfunadhoo in Baa Atoll. The resort can be reached with scenic 30-minute sea plane flight.

The island is 1,400 metres long and 400 metres wide. It is one of the largest islands in Maldives. Apart from the crystal clear waters, white beaches and tropical climate, the island’s unusually rich vegetation offers a unique natural experience. Villas are scattered along the beach and tucked into the lush greenery, providing the ultimate privacy.

Accommodation
Soneva Fushi offers just 65 villas, which capture the very essence of a luxurious castaway fantasy. The Jungle Reserve and the two retreats offer the premier accommodation. Each villa opens to its very own stretch of white sand beach just a few steps away, whilst many also include private sea water swimming pools. Each bathroom extends to a private garden, whilst utmost care is given to the environment.

Sense by the Beach
Sense by the Beach is a true destination for fine cuisine and wine lovers. The Peruvian and Japanese fusion menu draws heavily on classic Japanese food with South American influences.

Fresh in the Garden
You will traverse organic fruit and herb gardens and then climb broad winding stairs to a rope bridge that spans the banana plantation. Offers a daily changing menu of five choices per course, in which all of the dishes are created from organic produce to ensure a well balanced diet. Lunch sessions are offered for a minimum of six guests. Specially designed dishes encompassing raw and well balanced cuisine are offered for the health-conscious.

The main bar is an oasis of calm for reading, playing a board game, participating in a relaxed game of snooker, recuperating from a strenuous spa treatment or even a wi-fi hot spot for sending an email. The best selection of spirits and liqueurs are available within our stylish white and brown bar “….So Spiritual”. Peruse through one of the largest collections of spirits in the Maldives.

Sense by the Beach- Bar & Pavilion
Me Dhuniye bar sits on the sunset side of the island. It is truly the most idyllic place to watch the sunset behind the blue waters of the Indian ocean.

Bar(a)bara-Bar
All day drinks and snacks. This bar is situated at the end of Jetty B, overlooking the vibrant reef on the west side of the island. It is simply a dream location for our well traveled Robinson Crusoe… tasteful, indulgent and different.

The Wine Cellar
Soneva Fushi has gained worldwide recognition for its unique selection of wines on this tiny island in the middle of Indian Ocean. Our subterranean wine cellar holds up to seven thousand bottles in climate controlled tranquility.
