Residenza Del Moro

A reflection of five centuries of art and culture, Residenza del Moro is an intimate hideaway set in the main rooms of a meticulously restored palazzo, dating back to the 16th century. Stunning frescoes, a 15th century rooftop garden, a pretty courtyard and butler service are just a few of the delights of this hotel in the heart of Florence.

The ambience here is one of a private palazzo. A beautiful 17th century staircase leads to a wealth of 18th century frescoes, beautiful stucco work and antique furniture that span the centuries. Just 11 individually decorated suites with magnificent period features are enhanced by silk fabrics, brocades and works of modern art by prominent contemporary artists.

The Duomo is close by, but to avoid the crowds cross the river to the beautiful Boboli Gardens, behind the Pitti Palace. Then head to San Miniato al Monte, one of the finest Romanesque churches in Tuscany with superb views over Florence.

The building has been magnificently restored to its old beauty; all rooms and suites features antique and “vintage” furniture, and contemporary paintings and works. The bathrooms, all different in dimensions and style, features precious marbles, some with old style bathtubs, others with Jacuzzi, all with shower. All bathrooms have telephone, hairdryer, enlarging mirror and complete of a special cosmetic line. All suites and rooms features mini-bar, air conditioning, electronic safe, 2 telephone lines (one regular telephone and one cordless, which can be used in the entire palace and in the garden), LCD satellite TV, high-speed Internet connection with Plug & Play and Wi-Fi, with linen sheet and cashmere blankets. A butler service is on request.

Double Superior Camera Del Bengala:
The double superior room is well furnished with beautiful original ceiling and contemporary artworks. The elegant bathroom has a bath or shower. Size: approximately 31 sq. metres.

Double Gran Deluxe Camera dei Affreschi:
The double gran deluxe has a king size bed, a sitting/dining area where you can enjoy breakfast. The bathrooms are very elegant Size: approximately 37 sq. metres.

One-Bedroom Apartment:
The one-bedroom apartment is located on the lower ground floor and has a queen bed. The apartment features wooden beams that decorate the ceilings and has a cooking corner. Size: approximately 70 sq. metres.

Kindly note that Residenza del Moro does not have a restaurant. However, there is a room service menu for snacks and cold plates available all day. There are also a number of lovely restaurants in the local area.
