Description
The former Parisian residence of the General Pershing while the Americans came to the aide of the allies during the First World War, the Pershing Hall possesses a solid Empire facade, contemporary decor originally designed by Andrée Putman, then revamped by Imaad Rahmouni in 2005 for the restaurant and the brand new bar, but above all, it possesses a patio with one of the most beautiful vertical gardens in Paris.
Well known amongst trendy Parisians for its restaurant and bar, for its animated atmosphere and the softness of its patio in the summer days, the Pershing Hall is less famous for its hotel.
One must say that with a modest lateral entrance the length of the grand porch leading to the restaurant, with a reception consisting of two small desks, and with only around thirty rooms, the hotel is rather discreet.
Pure and simple, the rooms cultivate, however, a cosy white-wood décor which is very warm. White walls meet thick brown carpets and decoration. It is worth noting the shrewd walk in wardrobe where access to the mosaic bathroom or mini bar is hidden.
And as this type of relaxing and tranquil room makes one want to listen to music, an audio-video Bang & Olufsen system permits you to loose yourself in a shimmering flux of decibels.
