Monnàber Vell

This beautiful Majorcan farmhouse is set at the foot of the Tramuntana Mountains, surrounded by the stunning, unspoilt landscape found in the north of the island.

The Monnàber Vell lies on the side of a peaceful valley - the ideal setting for a relaxing break in the fresh air. The building originally dates from the 13th century, and has been carefully restored to include many charming, original features.

Take a walk in the wonderful surrounding countryside before returning to the hotel for a refreshing dip in the outdoor swimming pool. You can also enjoy the Mediterranean sunshine at one of the many sandy beaches found along the island's nearby coastline.

- Enter the motorway from the airport towards Palma (MA-19), being aware of cars emerging from the right hand lane.
- Take the second exit onto the Via De Cintura in the direction of Andratx (MA-12), then take the Inca/Pto Alcúdia exit (MA-13).
- The new dual carriageway, opened in 2006, bypasses Inca and Campanet, then you need to take the exit number 37 for "Sant Miquel" and "Coves".
- Follow these signs for a few miles until you reach a "Monnàber Vell Agroturisme" signpost. Carry on for about 3 miles and you will find the hotel. The total journey lasts about 40 minutes.
