La Maison du Paradou

La Maison du Paradou is an ancient village house which used to be a coaching inn.

It was built in 1699 and has many original features, including the troughs where the horses used to eat whilst the weary traveler had his own refreshments. It has now been modernized to the highest standards and Andrea, who is an interior designer, has decorated the house with color and flair using antiques and paintings to offer a very luxurious feel.

All the rooms are individually decorated with the best fabrics and Nick’s picture collections is on display in each one. Each room has air conditioning, Satellite TV and access to Nick and Andrea's collection of 400 movies. In 2010, la Maison Bleue, a self-catering three bedroom house with swimming pool in the garden of the main property will be available.

There are five rooms, all different each with luxury bathroom ensuite, toweling robes, slippers, Etro Italian designer bath products and even chocolates to match the decor in each room. A grand buffet breakfast is included in the price of the room as are all taxes.

There is no restaurant but lunch is available on request. There are two excellent local bistros just two minutes walk from the hotel in the same village of Le Paradou. Two swimming pools, petanque, table tennis and an honesty bar in the garden to help yourself to drinks all day.

La Maison du Paradou is very close to Les Baux golf course and there is a tennis court in the village. Le Paradou is just a ten minute drive from St. Remy de Provence with its colorful Wednesday market, restaurants and galleries.
