La Commenda

La Commenda is an ancient monastery founded by the Camaldolesi Monks around the 11th century as indicated by the Age of the central tower around which the other buildings have been built over the centuries.

The central building with its 2 wings date back to 1600. The Villa is located in a park of centuries old trees along with 3 country houses and the swimming pool in a clearing.

Each room is furnished with antique and tuscan-crafted furniture, precious fabrics, wrought iron lamps, terracotta, woodwork, stone and exposed beam ceilings.

The atmosphere is of rare splendour, elegant, prestigious yet uncomplicated, where guests come to enjoy the
traditions and hospitality of days gone by.
