Villa Real Hotel

Set in the cultural and commercial heart of Madrid, the Hotel Villa Real occupies a new building but contains many ancient artefacts. It is only a short walk from main sights, such as Puerta del Sol.

The collection of artefacts on show in the hotel include Roman mosaics and Greek Apulian vessels dating from the early third century BC to the fifth century AD. Throughout the new building, wood panelling, marble floors, painted stucco and antique furnishings blend seamlessly with state-of-the-art facilities. Outside the hotel, you will find the city´s main sights, such as Gran Vía, the Retiro Park and the world-renowned galleries only a few minutes away.

Guests can make use of meeting rooms holding up to 300 people, perfect for banquets, conventions and other business meetings. In addition, the hotel has car parking, a café, bar and restaurant serving a wide range of dishes. The Museo del Prado, the Myseo Thyssen - Bornemisza and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia form the 3 corners of the triangle and each of them is just a few hundred metres away from the hotel.

Puerta del Sol is just 600 metres from the hotel. The square is one of the busiest and most well known places in Madrid and contains the famous clock whose bells mark the traditional eating of the Twelve Grapes and the beginning of a new year.

The tranquil beauty of Parque del Buen Retiro is less than a kilometre from the hotel. This large and popular park consists of 350 acres of parkland in the centre of the city.

Plaza de Cibeles has been adopted as the city's symbol and this attractive square, will all of its stunning sculptures and fountains, is just 500 metres from the hotel.
