Description
This new, luxurious hotel, in the heart of the city, is housed in a characterful old building, once an exchange of the Estonian Telegraph Company.
The hotel building was constructed at the end of 19th century. Peter Schreiberg, from St. Petersburg, designed the original 4 storey house, the top two floors being added later.
After the Republic of Estonia was established in 1918, the building was used as a telegraph station. It retained this function in the Soviet period, housing the 'Tallinn Central Telegraph'. During restoration in 2005-2006, the wing of the building that was destroyed during World War Two was rebuilt.
Recently transformed into a hotel, the building offers you both history and modernity. Inside the historical facade every room offers you tasteful, contemporary, spacious accommodation and a wealth of modern comforts, including a flat screen TV.
The hotel is in an ideal location for those seeking to explore the small, winding, cobbled alleyways that make up Tallinn's stunning Old Town; the famous St Catherine's passage is right on the hotel's doorstep. After a hectic day of sightseeing you can relax in the exclusive Elemis spa centre.
The hotel has a meeting room, complete with fireplace, which can host events for up to 50 people. A wealth of beauty treatments, including facials and hand therapy, are available at the hotel (charges apply). The hotel's indoor pool (3 x 10m) and jacuzzi are open 7 days a week (07:00 until 22:00). The sauna and steam bath are also open Monday to Sunday (07:00 - 10:00 and 17:00 - 22:00).
During your time at the hotel you can spoil yourself with an à la carte dinner in the restaurant (12:00-22:30), or lock yourself away in your sizeable room and enjoy something from the hotel's room service menu, available 24-hours a day.
The hotel's Lobby-Bar, open until late, is an ideal venue for a pre-dinner cocktail or a nightcap. The bar also offers a wide selection of wines from the New and Old World.
St Catherine's Passage (50m) - in this quaint medieval alley you can watch artists and craftsmen plying their trades. Town Hall Square (70m) - here, in front of the charming medieval town hall, traditions from the Middle Ages are kept alive; parades, a knights' tournament and a parrotshooting contest take place in this popular square. Toompea Castle (600m) - this castle, situated on a steep limestone hill, was built in the 13th and 14th centuries.

A shuttle to or from Tallinn's Ulemiste Airport (TLL) is available on request.
