The Hotel Teatro arose from the spot where the Baquet Theatre was inaugurated in 1859. A hundred and fifty-one years later, the unique, refined and bohemian environment of the Theatre has been revived here in a hotel.
The Reception represents a box office, where each guest receives a ticket to access their room. the restaurant and bar have become the new Stage and audience, offering creations for a discerning palate.
The Hotel Teatro as the name implies is fully related with theatre and spectacle. The entire building is covered with a big photo allusive to the theme. The main door has a poem of a great Portuguese poet. Opening the main door, the reception seems like a box-office where you receive a ticket to accede to your room.
At the back, the restaurant and the bar become stage and audience respectively with their own cabins. Into the bathroom facilities, there’s charriots with theatre clothes as if it were a dressing room.
