Hotel Porta Faenza

The 18th-century Porta Faenza Hotel is located in Florence, Italy, 200 metres from Santa Maria Novella Station and within 600 metres of the Duomo.

Owned by renowned Florentine photographer Antonio Nelli and his Canadian wife, Rose, who have been hoteliers since 1974, Porta Faenza Hotel is housed in an 18th-century building.

The arched front entrance leads into the lobby. The hotel boasts a portico-style seating area next to a 13th-century well. Porta Faenza Hotel does not have a restaurant of its own but it does serve breakfast everyday (surcharge) and there are several restaurants in the area.
