Lunch at the Met Restaurant offers an unforgettable experience to delight your palate as well as your visual and olfactory senses.

The Met Restaurant is the only Michelin-starred hotel restaurant in Venice, and one of only two Michelin-starred restaurants in the whole city.

The atmosphere is intimate and sophisticated, the service attentive and discreet. Generous windows offer a scenic view of the island of San Giorgio. The stylish, intriguing décor features wood panelling, elegant Fortuny lamps, damask cushions, warm velvets, comfortable seats, mirrors in 17th-century gilt frames, an antique Indian coffer, and a 19th-century Thai armour. The refined ambiance is in perfect harmony with the creative cuisine of Corrado Fasolato.

The Met Restaurant serves lunch from 12:30 to 14:30 and dinner from 19:30 to 22:00. It is closed on Mondays.

As a member of the Italian Tea Club, Hotel Metropole serves tea, fresh pastries and cakes daily in the Venetian lounge, with teapots made of fine Schonwald porcelain. Tea is served from 15:00 to 18:00.

From the airport: approximately 60 minutes ferry boat crossing.
Arrival into Venice is at the Arsenale boat stop (approximately 320 metres from the Hotel).
By water taxi:

From the Airport approximately 30 minutes boat crossing.
From Tronchetto (car parking island) the journey takes approximately 15 minutes.
From Piazzale Roma (Municipal Car Parking, San Marco, car-hire) the waterbus service is guaranteed using line No. 51 (approximately 20 minutes journey).
Arrival Stop is San Zaccaria (approximately 280 metres from the hotel).

There are waterbuses, known as vaporetti, with numbered routes:
No. 51 from Santa Lucia station: approximately 20 minute journey.
The name of the stop of destination is San Zaccaria, which is situated approximately 280 metres from the hotel.

No. 82 to and from Santa Lucia station: approximately 40 minute journey .
Destination stop is San Zaccaria - Jolanda (approxiamtely 220 metres from the hotel).
