Hotel J and J

Our small and exclusive hotel was designed from a 16th century monastery, masterfully restored some years ago.

Hotel J and J is located in one of the most traditional and ancient streets in the heart of Florence, close to the city centre. This quiet area is less than a 10 minute walk from the cathedral and busy shopping area.

Enjoy the quiet, friendly and family like atmosphere of Hotel J and J.

All the rooms, each with its own individual style, are furnished with antiques, hand-woven fabrics and all modern comforts. Most look out over the old rooftops and concealed courtyards, giving you the feeling of really living in the past.

Rooms are all different and mainly located at the back of the hotel. Each is cosy and tranquil, and yet maintains a high standard of furnishings (with some antiques) and amenities.
The American buffet breakfast (available from 07:30 to 10:00) is a very rich buffet including cakes, bread, fruit, cereals, yogurt, jam, cheese as well as hot and cold drinks.

The bar is open until 23:00.

This Renaissance Palace, which is located in the Santa Croce district, not far from the Duomo and all the most important monuments and sites, has original frescoes, plaster works and a beautiful cloister with a well and Doric columns.

From Florence Amerigo Vespucci airport:
- The best way to get from the airport to the hotel is by taxi. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes.
- Alternatively, you can take the Sita shuttle from the airport to the central railway station of Florence, Santa Maria Novella.

From Santa Maria Novella railway station:
- A taxi to the hotel takes about 10 minutes.
- Alternatively, direct Ataf buses (numbers 31, 32 and 6) are available every 10 minutes.
