Description
In the heart of Cordoba, close to the narrow lanes of La Juderia, is this lovely little nine room inn which has associations with the famous restaurant El Churrasco.
The owner, Rafael Carrillo, has combined his love of gastronomy and his good hospitality with these two enterprises, the inn being new and the restaurant already having a solid international reputation. There is a lovely terrace/solarium at the inn with vistas of la Mezquita Cathedral and a small bar/cafeteria as well as two patios.
There is a garage next to the hotel.
You will receive a friendly welcome at this well-located inn.
The hotel incorporates four beautiful protected houses and their gardens in the historic district of the City of Cordoba. The murmuring fountain and well kept greenery invite you to relax.
One of the Hospedería's main attractions is the facility to park your car for the whole of your stay as the most important historical sites are only 150 meters from the hotel and can bee reached by foot through the Jewish quarter.
The Hospedería's restaurant is called El Churrasco, and offers fine food with good service.
The ensuite rooms are each named after artists and are uniquely decorated with typical Andalusian furniture and antiques.
All 9 rooms of the Hospedería de El Churrasco have double beds.
The rooms are comfortable and equipped with plasma television, minibar and air conditioning.
Some of the rooms are designated for no-smoking guests.
Next door to the hotel is the Restaurante El Churrasco, one of the best restaurants in Córdoba, whose fame and reputation have even spread beyond Spain. It is named after one of its local specialities, churrasco (grilled pork served with pepper sauce).
Breakfast is served in your room, or in any of the public rooms of the hotel.
Places to visit:
La Mezquita-Cathedral
Several important museums
Jewish quarters
Old Córdoba with the synagogue, Alcazar and Arabian baths
Moorish city walls
Visit Cordoba in May and enjoy the famous Festival de Los Patios Cordobeses when home-owners open their patios and compete for the prize to the most beautifully decorated patio.
