Hesperia Bilbao

The new Hotel Hesperia Bilbao opened its doors in September 2005. Situated opposite the Bilbao Guggenheim Museum, this hotel have 151 rooms, all fully equipped, and a spacious restaurant with cafeteria. The project includes the construction of several convention rooms which makes this hotel the ideal location for business meetings in this Basque city.

The hotel is located in Bilbao's city centre, conveniently just 100 metres from the bus station and a kilometre from the train station. The Euskalduna congress and exhibition centre is just a 500-metre walk away.

From Bilbao-Loiu Airport:
By Car (9.5 km - about 15-20 minutes):
- Exit the airport and take the BI-2704/BI-3704.
- Cross Asua-Lauroeta town.
- Continue on the BI-3704.
- At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and continue on the BI-3704 (Bilbao-Plencia Errepidea) road.
- Leave Asua-Lauroeta, staying on the BI-3704.
- Continue for about 2 km until you reach the junction with the N637.
- Take the N637 and pass through the Túneles de Artxanda tunnels (toll: EUR 1.35).
- Enter into Bilbao city centre.
- Take the Paseo Campo de Volantín - the hotel is located on this road.

By Bus:
There is a bus running every half an hour from the airport to Bilbao: Bizkaibus number A-3247. This is available every day from 06:15 to 00:00.

By Taxi:
The rough cost by taxi from the airport to the hotel is EUR 15-20.

By Car from the A8:
- Take the Parque de Escurce exit into Bilbao and head along Calle Juan de Garay.
- Continue until you reach Plaza Zabálburu.
- Take Calle Hurtado de Amezaga and continue straight on until you reach Calle Buenos Aires.
- Take this road and cross the bridge.
- Turn left into Paseo Campo de Volantín, where the hotel is located.

By Train :
Abando station is the main arrival point for national and international trains. From there take one of the taxis outside the station. The trip costs about EUR 4 (1 km - about 5 minutes).
