Hellsten

Hotel Hellsten is located in a building dated from 1898.

The hotel designer and founder preserved the antique style of typical bourgeois family flats where some rooms have "kakelugnar" (Swedish styled tiled or porcelain chimneys), stucco, exposed beams and wooden panelling.

The rooms are all individually designed to promote their natural advantages, which means a stay at the Hellsten is both a pleasure and a dramatic aesthetic experience.

We do not accept bookings for more than four rooms!

There are a number of labels that could be used to describe Hotel Hellsten - Design, Hip or Boutique being just three of them.

The founder's firm intention, however, is that the hotel should be a meeting place for travellers of all disciplines and interests and become their home away from home while they are in Stockholm.
Hotel Hellsten has 78 rooms and the interior design and furnishings change from room to room. Some rooms feature various antiques, including Swedish farm antiques, while others have a distinctly Asian touch. The rooms have all the modern amenities for a productive and relaxing stay.

A bar/restaurant in colonial style is located in Hotel Hellsten. On Thursdays we offer a free jazz concert.

Hotel Hellsten is just one block from the underground station of Rådmansgatan and approximately 30 minutes drive from Arlanda Airport.

Right in the heart of Stockholm we are within walking distance of all central buildings and key locations.

The location is one of the most exciting in Stockholm that includes a multitude
of all types of restaurants within a few minutes walk.

Hotel Hellsten is located on Luntmakargatan 68 in the centre of Stockholm. From Arlanda Airport you reach Rex Hotel by taking the Arlanda Express to the Central Station (20 minutes) and from there you will take the subway to the subwaystation Rådmansgatan, which takes about four minutes. The Hotel is just around the corner from there. By car it takes about thirty minutes from the airport.
