Description
Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni stands at the end of the Bellagio promontory, pride of this medieval village know as the pearl of the lake for its beauty and privileged position.
The hotel actually enjoys a breathtaking location, right in the heart of Lake Como area, and offers extraordinary holidays since 1873, when it was transformed from a private house into a luxury hotel, soon appreciated by the top of European aristocracy.
Say goodbye to the madding city crowds and be prepared to spend a relaxing holiday close to yourself and your beloved ones, surrounded by tradition, elegance, good taste, and a touch of discrete exclusivity.
For your enjoyment Villa Serbelloni offers: 2 restaurants, bars, live music every night, parking, concierge service, SPA & Beauty Centre, indoor and open air pool and a private beach on the lake.
The staircases, the frescoed ceilings, the rooms, the Salone Reale, with its splendid chandeliers in Murano glass and rich gilt mirrors, can still be admired in all their original splendour.
Terrazza Serbelloni is the hotel's more formal restaurant, and its grand terrace looks out onto one of the most beautiful panoramas of the lake, embracing in a single swoop both flowering gardens and snow-capped mountains. The menu at Terrazza Serbelloni offers dishes of best international cuisine.
The Mistral Restaurant was created to give the hotel a more informal restaurant. Since it was opened it has also become a research laboratory for Ettore Bocchia who here achieved his first Michelin star.
The Mistral offers the chance to eat out beside the pool or in a refined indoor dining room, decorated with the panelling of the great steamers and with large windows out onto the outside world.
The menu is inspired by Italian gourmet cuisine and offers dishes with newly reinterpreted traditional ingredients, bringing them together in light, creative recipes
The position of Bellagio is truly exceptional, even among the thousands of enchanting Italian locations.
Its temperate climate has for many years favoured vacations and working meetings even during the low season.
In the northern regions, just south of the Alps, Italy offers a wonderful series of lakes which have always attracted tourists and visitors in search of suggestive panoramas, artistic treasures, and the riches of nature.
Among the larger lakes, the richest in terms of charm and culture is Lake Como. Its unmistakable upturned Y shape was carved out by a glacier that was forced to split into two by the mountain that stood in its path. Lake Como offers the visitor the longest and most indented coastline of all the Italian lakes (170 km) as well as some of the most delightful natural and architectural gems of the entire peninsula.
