Unequalled attentiveness and gracious service attract business and leisure guests, dignitaries and celebrities alike to this legendary Pennsylvania Avenue luxury retreat in prestigious Georgetown.
"This property is Washington's first choice for travelers who can afford it and who appreciate the anything-is-possible service and faultless decorum. Impeccable maintenance and famed dining and accommodations only bolster its reputation." www.professionaltravelguide.com, 2008
Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC, offers 222 elegant guest rooms – including 59 suites – with views including Georgetown and the historic Chesapeake and Ohio Canal. Situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood, the mid-rise brick building is composed of separate east and west wings, connected by a glass-enclosed garden walkway.
Guest rooms are accented by original art from the dynamic, 2,000-piece William Louis-Dreyfus collection. East wing quarters feature a chic, contemporary Parisian-style design by Pierre-Yves Rochon. West wing accommodations are marked by silk-brocaded elegance, in provocative contrast to the modern artworks.
French limestone or marble bathrooms thoughtfully incorporate Four Seasons signature touches. Most have a deep soaking tub, and all feature a glass-enclosed shower and, in a separate alcove, a WC with telephone. Technology ranges from LCD flat-screen HD television to high-speed wired and wireless Internet service.
Providing a relaxing oasis in gracious Georgetown, the spa's treatment rooms include a luxurious spa room – a spa in microcosm, in which guests can enjoy a massage or body treatment, steam shower and whirlpool in total privacy. Adjacent to the spa, George's Salon completes the experience with hair care and nail treatments.
Bourbon Steak
In keeping with the importance of power daytime dining in the nation's capital, BOURBON STEAK's creator, Michael Mina and Executive Chef David Varley have created distinctive lunch and dinner menus sourced from the East and West Coasts to offer a culinary experience sure to delight guests. Known for his signature slow-poaching method of cooking, Mina delivers a modern menu that focuses on the finest meats and seafood available both locally and worldwide.
Seasons
Lush gardens and walls of windows create an airy, sophisticated setting for an exquisite dining experience. Under the direction of Executive Chef Doug Anderson, Seasons' menu is a tempting mix of fresh ingredients and delicious flavours, reflecting today's respect for dining values. It showcases regional and seasonal ingredients, highlighted by a wine list that has consistently been ranked as among the best in the world.
Among its numerous awards and accolades, Seasons has received the AAA Four Diamond and the DiRoNA awards and the Wine Spectator “Award of Excellence,” and has been named one of Gourmet magazine's “Top Tables.” A children's menu is available for our younger diners.
