Flatrock Suites

These stylish and privately owned suites are situated just off the vibrant Long Street in the lively heart of beautiful Cape Town.

The fully-equipped, luxurious, contemporary suites are serviced in the manner of a hotel, whilst simultaneously offering the privacy and independence of apartment living.

Each of the brand new 2 and 3-bedroom apartments has a kitchen and is decorated in a modern style with contemporary comforts and facilities. Linen and towels are provided. Apartments are refreshed daily and linen is changed once a week, free of charge. Additional housekeeping services are available on request and are charged according to guests' requirements.

Each of the apartments has a fully-equipped, fitted kitchen and facilities in the immediate vicinity include a variety of welcoming markets, bakeries, and a wide selection of shops.

FlatRock Suites were decorated by the well-known local interior decorator, David Strauss. He found his inspiration in the natural beauty that surrounds FlatRock Suites: the imposing mountain, the wide blue sky, the cry of the gulls, the full moon and the starry, starry night.

Start your day with a scrumptious full English breakfast at Long Street Cafe or a wholesome, healthy breakfast at Lola's, just a short walk from your apartment.

The excellent location offers all the convenience of inner city living with total security. Each suite overlooks the city and all have spectacular views of either Table Mountain or the bustling streets of Cape Town.

The suites are situated just off Long Street - the street that never sleeps - and they are within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, bars and clubs. The area is famed for its colourful African flavour, music spills out into the streets and the nightlife goes on until the sun comes up.

Victoria & Alfred Waterfront (2.4 km) - Situated in the heart of Cape Town's working harbour, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront is well-established as Cape Town's premier shopping and tourist destination. Boutiques, restaurants, hotels, outdoor theatre and leisure cruises are just a few of the many attractions on offer.

Table Mountain (3 km) - Platteklip Gorge is the safest, most direct route up Table Mountain. However this mighty chasm, that splits the front of Table Mountain, is best attempted only by the fittest of hikers in the coolest part of the day, as the route includes 1800 steps.

Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (13 km) - Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is world-renowned for the beauty and diversity of the Cape flora it displays, and for the magnificence of its setting against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. Kirstenbosch grows only indigenous South African plants.
