Es Ratxo Hotel & Spa

Set in spectacular natural surroundings, this hotel nestles in the foothills of the Puig de Galatzó Mountains, on the island of Majorca.

Es Ratxo hotel is housed in a 16th century classical-style Majorcan property and has been refurbished maintaining its original character. The hotel has an excellent spa facility where you can relax and enjoy the various treatments on offer. The natural and secluded setting of this hotel will also help you to unwind. In the evening, you can dine in the hotel's restaurant Sa Tafona and then enjoy a drink and a chat in the lounge bar.

This is a seasonal hotel, open from March to October.

The property is built on foundations dating back to the Moorish occupation of the island. You can still discover archeological remains form this historical age in the hotel's surroundings. The building was originally used for producing olive oil in the 15th and 16th century.

Our rooms are designed in a rustic style. The noble woods used give the rooms a homelike ambiance. In the full-equipped bathroom there is a shower and bathtub separated. At the terrace you can find a sunshade and seating, that invite you to leave the everyday life behind you, to read a good book or to enjoy the spectacular views over the mountains of the Tramuntana or of the valley. A restored 16th century oil press is the focal point of today's gourmet restaurant, which is the pride of the hotel. The selection of dishes prepared by our chef is characterised by a mixture of flavours worthy of the most refined palate. In combination with our excellent cuisine, we have a carefully selected wine list to delight our most discerning guests.

Around the swimming pool, the Summer bar offers an informal menu, to allow the guests to lunch while enjoying the swimming pool and the fantastic views from the hotel.

Our breakfast room, with its sweeping views of the valley, provides the ideal way to start the day with a delicious buffet.
