Description
In the centre of the Black Périgord, an area full of history and prehistory, the Domaine de Rochebois overlooks the Dordogne River with 40 sophisticated and air conditioned rooms.
Set in gardens and woodland areas, this hotel benefits from a slight touche of Tuscany with mosaics and albizzias while enjoying the sweet aromas of its elegant gardens.
With an area of 25 m², the pavillon rooms have a double bed and and a work space. They also have a private terrace from which you can admire the park.
The gastronomic restaurant is open every evening. The chef loves to use regional products: truffles, foie gras, fillet of duck, and other specialities from the South West, flavoured with aromatic herbs cultivated in the garden.
The club house serves light meals on the shady terrace of the Lavandins Restaurant.
Meet at the bar, lounge or smoking room to play pool, bridge or simply enjoy a cup of tea or fine alcoholic drinks in a cosy setting.
Nearby you can indulge in pleasant walks, tennis, canoeing, mountain biking, balloon excursions and climbing.
Perigord is rich in culture, and you can discover small medieval towns and country houses (Sarlat, Domme), castles, prehistoric sites and museums. Gardens are open to visitors, as is the Bordelais and its vineyards.
