Domaine de la Tortinière

We are located 10 km south of Tours in the heart of the Chateaux country.

Our hotel is an ideal place for tourists or leisure travellers, business or even a stopover to the ocean or the South of France. The Chateau Hotel Domaine de la Tortinière is a peaceful and charming 19th century Manor in 15 acres of park overlooking the landscape where the Indre River flows.

The 29 rooms are in the Château itself and in the neighbouring outhouses and are all decorated with lovely fabrics and antique furniture.

The well-known restaurant offers a refined cuisine served either in the old Orangerie of the Château or on the Terrace.

David Chartier's refined cuisine is served either in the former orangery or on the outside terrace. Recipes are inventive as well as taking inspiration from traditional Loire cookery. The roasted pigeon breast served with a spicy pastilla, creamed almond and pistachio oil is not to be missed.
