Design Merrion Hotel

The Design Merrion Hotel is situated in the Žižkov quarter and is surrounded by modern business centres, shops and restaurants. Bus and tram stops are only a few steps away from which you can reach the city centre within 10 minutes.

Breakfast is served from 07:30 until 10:00 on weekdays and from 08:00 until 10:30 on weekends in our winter garden.

The hotel's lobby bar is open non-stop and offers a wide range of drinks. A restaurant only 50 metres from the hotel is open daily from 11:00 to 23:00 and offers lunch and dinner.

Adjacent to the hotel there is a business centre, where business travellers can make use of a fully equipped conference room for approximately 20 persons or rent an office with internet connection, computer, fax, telephone and secretarial services.

Parking for hotel guests is available in the hotel's garages. An airport shuttle limousine service can also be booked.

Bus and tram stops are easily accessible from the hotel and all the major attractions are no more than a 15-minute walk away.

The hotel is located in a green residential area of the district Prague 3. Walk south into Vinohrady to see elegant architecture and scenic parks and gardens. Travel west to Prague 1 to some of the city's famous attractions, like Old Town Square, Charles Bridge and Wenceslas Square.

Shopping and various entertainment facilities including cinemas can be enjoyed in the Palác Flora shopping centre and the O2 Arena, which is less than 10 minutes away, is a major venue for pop and rock concerts

Vítkov Park is also very close. It offers wonderful vistas of Prague and is ideal for jogging and taking long walks. The park is home to the National Vítkov Monument featuring a statue of Jan Žižka, the famous 15th-century warrior.

The location has good links to the main arterial road and to the D1 motorway, heading to Brno or to the D8 motorway in the direction of Teplice. Via the centre and Plzeňská street you will reach the D5 direction Pilsen, Rozvadov, Nuremberg.

Bus:
The hotel is only a few steps away from the 207 and 133 bus line stops, which go to the Florenc metro station and bus depot, before continuing to the historical centre via Staroměstská metro station.

Tram:
Tram no. 9 from the Biskupcova stop takes you to Hlavní nádraží (Main Railway Station ) and to Masarykovo nádraží (Masaryk Railway Station).

To the Airport:
Apart from the airport shuttle service bookable via the the hotel you can make use of the bus line 136 from the Černínova stop to go to the Flora metro station, and then proceed by metro to the Dejvická station where you change to bus no. 119 which takes you to the Ruzyně Airport.

From Florenc bus station there is the regular Airport Bus to Ruzyně Airport, which continues on to Karlovy Vary. From the city centre there is a regular minibus service
