Claska’s overriding concept is having a liveable life. Situated on Meguro-dori between Meguro and Gakugeidai stations, this hotel is the result of the complete overhaul of the former Hotel Meguro. Claska opened in 2003 and represents different aspects of the Nipponconcept, one of the world's most innovative and contemporary culture. The second floor hosts rental gallery-cum-shop, Gallery and the Shop DO.
CLASKA has 18 guest rooms, providing four kind of rooms, Japanese Modern, Tatami Style, Weekly Residence and D.I.Y. rooms, depending on each customers' taste. Japanese Modern features, original furnishings and antique utensils show off a modern Japanese and Asian ambience. The Tatami Room is a mixed style, equipped with simple furnishings of tatami (Japanese straw-woven soft mats). Cafe kiokuh is a Japanese contemporary restaurant, which takes on a creative view to experience and enjoy food with all 5 senses. From the rooftop terrace guests have a spectacular view over Tokyo.
The hotel is located in the Meguro area and is very close to many major transportation services. You can reach the Shimizu bus stop in 1 minute by foot and Gakugei Daigaku Station's East exit is only 10 min away (Tokyu Toyoko Line). Guests can get to the hotel from Narita Airport by taking the shuttle bus to the Hotel Sheraton Miyako (Ebisu/Shinagawa area), which is a 15 minutes taxi ride from the Claska.
