Château de Montcaud

The Chateau de Montcaud is located in a charming area, nestled in the vineyards of the Rhone Hills. It will transport you into a Provencal fairy tale as if by magic.

We offer 28 rooms and they all are equipped with a bathroom with a shower, a bath tub, a bathrobe and a hair dryer, air-conditioning, a safe, a mini-bar, satellite TV, a telephone, internet access and a desk. Rooms for non-smokers and for disabled people are also available.

Only the freshest, seasonal ingredients reach our tables and the chef will whet your appetite with his roasted langoustines, his caramelised mini lemons with star-anise, his pistachio-coated rack of lamb with gentian juice, his delicate and crisp tart of glazed fennel and bitter-almond ice cream. The wine menu comprises the wines of the neighbouring vineyards.

During the summer, you can enjoy the gourmet delights of the Sunday Jazz Lunch, a comfort for both mind and body. The private grounds of 11 acres are a model of romanticism with wide lawns, ponds and grottos between rows of trees of which some are several centuries old.

Furthermore, you can take advantage of a private park with lawns, ponds and a swimming pool. In the basement of the hotel, there is our fitness area with sauna, hammam, jet shower and gym. Outside, you will find a heated swimming pool, tennis court, table tennis, boules-playground and a wellness course.
