Rumour has it that Nietzsche, toward the end of his life, climbed one of the steep paths in the village of Eze and that the arduous nature of this ascent inspired him to write Thus Spoke Zarathustra.

The chef, Philippe Labbé, a former pupil of Bernard Loiseau, orchestrates the cuisine in three restaurants where the great French classics are paired with Mediterranean specialties.
