Château de Challanges

Experience the charm of this XIX century residence situated on 7 hectares of verdant forest. The hotel is located in the heart of Burgundy near the centre of Beaune.

The historic Chateau de Challenges has been completely renovated to ensure a warm and comfortable stay. The hotel offers attractive and comfortable single or twin rooms. Twin rooms are located in the annex near the swimming pool and have a private terrace.

For a lazy day around the hotel, take a swim in the hotel pool while enjoying the peace and quiet of the surrounding area. Guests, who want a bit of adventure, can rent a bicycle from the hotel and venture into the centre of Beaune where you will find plenty of restaurants, shops and the famous Hospices de Beaune.

Another exceptional feature of the Chateau is the wine cellar. Sample the many pleasures of Burgundy by the glass or book a tasting with a wine specialist. Then try some traditional local cuisine prepared by the restaurateur.

The meeting room can accommodate up to 15 people and features high speed Internet access, paper board, screen, overhead projector, coffee breaks and delicatessen meal.

The hotel also features a petanque alley and will happily provide a set of balls (deposit required).

For every minimum stay of 3 nights with arrival on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday untill 30 November 2008, the hotel offers their guests a visit and degustation in the Chateau.

All of the suites have been renovated and offer a bathroom fitted with a balneotherapy bath and colour therapy.

From Paris: stay on the motorway at the first exit (24 Beaune-St Nicolas) and instead take exit 24.1 (Beaune-Hospices-Centre). Go right at the roundabout towards Challanges.
Go straight at the traffic lights, then take the second turn on the right. Pass over the motorway. In the village, take the first right, then turn right again.
