Casa del Capitel Nazarí

Located in the ancient, narrow streets of the Albayzín district, this hotel is a charming blend of Renaissance Christian and Moorish design - matching the rich history of Granada itself.

The Casa del Capitel Nazarí was originally built in 1503 and sits overlooking the majestic Alhambra Palace from the opposite side of the valley. It is built around a typical Moorish courtyard, full of columns, exquisite carved capitals and chrome-plated wood beams - an authentic Andalusian scene in which to relax in the warm sunshine.

Explore the city's monumental historic centre and enjoy the wide choice of traditional tapas bars and restaurants. You can then return to relax with a complimentary tea or coffee before a get a peaceful night's sleep in your own enchanting room. Each is decorated in a typical, 16th-century style with terracotta tiles and antique furnishings.

We offer a cold buffet for breakfast from coffe, té, milk and juice to different kind of suit breads with toast, fruit, crereals, butter, jam, cheese, omelette and many other delicious meals.

The area surrounding the hotel has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, so traffic is restricted. Guests traveling by car are advised to leave the car in one of the 2 public car parks with which the hotel has agreements entitling guests to a discount on parking.

Both of these car parks offer parking for EUR 18.50 per 24 hours. Guests pay for parking in the hotel and the hotel gives out tickets when you need the car. The hotel cannot reserve car parking spaces as it is a public car park.

The 2 car parks are Parking Plaza Puerta Real on Acera Del Casino, and Parking Triunfo on Avenida de la Constitucion, in front of the Jardines Del Triunfo. Parking Plaza Puerta Real is nearest to the hotel.

By Car:
For Plaza Puerta Real:
- Take the main road in Granada, Circunvalacion N-323.
- Then take exit number 131, Armilla, towards the Congressional Palace on the Armilla Road.
- Go straight on down Paseo Del Violon.
- Then cross the Puente Blanco (White Bridge) and you will be in Acera del Darro.
- Pass the large El Corte Inglés shopping centre on the right and you will see the car park, Plaza Puerta Real. Do not park in Parking Puerta Real.
- If this car park is full, you can wait or, alternatively, you can call the hotel and the staff will provide you with instructions for finding alternative car parking.
- From the car park, take a taxi to the hotel. If you ask the driver for a receipt, the hotel will provide you with a discount on the cost of your parking equal to the cost of the taxi journey, one-way, from the car park to the hotel.

This discount is only available for taxi journeys one-way from Plaza Puerta Real to the hotel, and is not available for taxi journeys from any other car park.
