The Banyan Tree Seychelles is a resort of stunning villas surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, nestled at the foot of a mountain on the island of Mahe.
The resort covers an area of approximately 117 hectares on the island's southwestern coastline with a fabulous palm tree lined beach frontage of 800 meters.
Combining contemporary and plantation-style decor, the 47 air-conditioned villas have been built and furnished using indigenous materials, sleek Asian style furnishings and ethnic textiles and ornaments. All have private pools with sun loungers and pool decks, some with hot tubs. Amenities include bathrobes, CD players, televisions and tea/coffee making facilities.
In the restaurant Au Jardin d'Epices guests can sample an exotic dinner menu including traditional Creole recipes, Mediterranean cuisine and dishes from Mauritius and South Africa all made with fresh local ingredients. Guests can eat on the romantic outdoor terrace, which overlooks the Indian Ocean.
