Auberge Ostapé

L'Auberge Ostapé is a hotel of charm located at half an hour of Biarritz, in the middle of the green hills of the Basque Country. Visitors will discover five typical Basque villas, including an 17th-century manor house, dispatched on an estate of 45 hectares.
Ostapé is a regional gourmet stopover for its guests: traditional Navarrian cuisine interpreted by Alain Ducasse.

The restaurant and the bar are located in the manor house. The restaurant, with a capacity of 50 seats, features traditional Navarrian cuisine, up-dated on a daily basis, and based on best quality regional farm production. Two vegetable gardens on the estate will also provide delicious ingredients - vegetables, herbs, seasoning plants, fruit.

On the estate, you will have access to the heated outdoor swimming pool,
the stud farm, Pottok horse-breeding (traditional poneys living in the Basque Pyrenees), the fitness center, turkish bath, sauna, the health and fitness run and cooking lessons (on request). A boutique is also available on the estate.

Rooms are dispatched in 5 typical Basque villas on the property.
The remaining 18th-century manor house, the stud farm and the house were originally part of the property.
They have been maintained, restored, and five new buildings have been added to the estate in a traditional Basque architecture style.
Rooms are particularly spacious - from 45 to 90m2 - and they all include a lobby, a living room, and some have a fireplace. All rooms overlook the mountain and the valley and all have a balcony or a terrace.
Our 22 suites, all decorated differently, with terrace or rez-de-jardin, offer a beautiful view on our splendid field of 45 hectares. Our chief, Alain Souliac, await you in our restaurant for a greedy halt where the most beautiful products of the soil are prepared for your best pleasure.
