Description
Dombes is the region of a thousand lagoons… but it’s also the perfect region for people who love to hunt for treasure, as it is the land of second-hand furniture and antique dealers.
What about culinary tradition? In the village of Mionnay, made famous by Alain Chapel, this gastronomic Mecca remains the gold standard. Bresse chicken is on the menu of course, as well as local frog legs, but every ingredient is fully inhanced by the young chef Philippe Jousse, the deserving successor of the former master of the property.
You will also find noble products such as blue lobster and white truffle, depending on the season, with a refined and original twist. This lovely little hotel, a former post house, takes you to the heights of excellent cuisine.
Activities: Golf, hiking, horseback, hunting, fishing.
Annual closing: From January 2nd to February 5th.
