Description
Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort is one of Ireland's leading luxury castle properties tucked into the natural seclusion of its 840-acre estate beside the picturesque village of Adare.
Just a 40-minute drive from Shannon International Airport, it is the perfect base for exploring the Cliffs of Moher, the Ring of Kerry, Killarney Lakes, Dingle Peninsula and Blarney Castle.
Surrounded by sweeping parklands, formal French gardens, mature trees and the river Maigue, one of Ireland’s finest trout rivers, it is one of Ireland’s best kept secrets.
The hotel is housed in an impressive manor house once owned by the Earl of Dunraven.
It was built in the 1830s to the English model but with a number of eccentricities, including a turreted entrance tower at one corner of the building rather than in the center, 52 chimneys (one to commemorate each week of the year), 75 fireplaces and 365 leaded glass windows (one for each day of the year).
The Manor House offers world class facilities which include a variety of accommodations to suit your needs. Whether you are traveling with family and friends, or if you are looking for the ultimate corporate retreat, Adare Manor will pamper you in old world style while you create unforgettable new memories.
Dining In
Experience a romantic evening in the Oakroom fine-dining restaurant, overlooking the formal French Gardens with views of the River Maigue. Chef Mark Donohue prepares menus using the very best of local Irish produce. The Carriage House Restaurant in the golf clubhouse serves bistro-style fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Garden patio open for dining during the summer months.
Recreation and Health
7,125-yard, par 72-golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. has staged the AIB Irish Seniors’ Open. The course has three lakes, and the River Maigue meanders through the back nine, coming into play on several holes. Driving range, practice green, equestrian center, fitness room, indoor heated swimming pool, a luxurious spa. Fishing with a Ghillie, laser clay-pigeon shooting.
Features
Conference and meeting facilities, banquet rooms. Helipad. Boutique and pro shop. 25 two- and four-bedroom townhomes, each with a sitting room, kitchen, dining area and utility room.
