Buenos Aires, which translates as "good air" or "fair winds", has been called the Paris of South America. The city often reminds travelers of being in Europe since the style, demeanor and look of the residents, architecture and city plan is decidedly European, however, despite strong affinities to Europe due to generations of European immigration, there is something perennially Latin about Buenos Aires.

With a minimalist design supported by sober yet warm colours, the 192 rooms of 725 Continental Hotel captures this inimitable combination of European and Latin culture with confidence.

The building itself dates back to 1927, designed by Alejandro Bustillo with a distinguished French style. Upon its completion, it was regarded as a visual marker for the cosmopolitan status the city had accrued throughout the world.

The design firm Urgell-Penedo-Urgell undertook a major renovation of the building and the result is a modern hotel set in a nostalgic relic of 1920s Argentina.

725 Continental is set in an important location on the diagonal street running from the main Obelisk to Plaza de Mayo. It is within walking distance of the La Recoleta, Colon Theatre and Galerias Pacifico shopping centre and San Telmo. Buenos Aires Ezeiza International Airport (EZE) is 35 kilometers.
